The first day where we made some mileage … and putting miles between Thule and us is no small feat. At least for now, we’re reliant on the path blazed by the intrepid SCAT folks. An amazing 70 miles festooned with bamboo poles marking both direction AND hazards (aka, crevasses). Here’s a hint as to how far we have to go (realize that I didn’t snap this right at the beginning).
We pulled up to camp at spot B1A … and upon finding a parking spot, we were greeted with some lovely sun dogs!
And finally, we realize that you may not know who we are. Well, if you’re interested, you would have already navigated to our bios on the Dartmouth IGERT homepage … but if you want to know what we look like “right now”, here you go!
