This past week we worked with the Joint Science and Education Program which was a lot of fun. This year there are 24 students participating from Denmark, Greenland and the US. We talked about glacial landforms – how to identify them and what they tell us about how they were formed. Then we went to one of the paleo-deltas on the outskirts of town and looked for evidence that the landform was once under water – fish fossils!
